CASE DESCRIPTION The primary objective of this case study is to identify indicators that can predict a bank's failure. The secondary objectives are to highlight strategies to restore the financial health of a bank and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a bank's performance measures. The case has a difficulty level of three, appropriate to junior level students in money and banking, commercial bank management, strategic management and business policy courses. The case is designed to be taught in three class hours and is expected to require at least three hours of preparation.
